“The winning mantra of MS Dhoni is that he backs the player in his best and preferred batting position. Dhoni backs the players completely and that is the reason why CSK is a champion team. He deviates from his game plan very often. Doesn’t happen. Or after every match. Players need to have faith and trust in the management and the captain. Dhoni has played 218 matches as captain in the world’s richest T20 league. With a win percentage of 58.71, Dhoni has won 128 matches as captain in the IPL. The 41-year-old has suffered 128 defeats in this elite T20 league so far.
The former Indian skipper has led CSK to four IPL titles in his illustrious career. Earlier, Dhoni became the seventh cricketer to complete 5000 runs in IPL. Only Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Warner, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina and AB de Villiers have scored 5000 runs in the richest T20 league in the world.
