“He is such a fit cricketer, a tremendous athlete when he runs between the wickets during his batting. He was giving it his all on this fast outfield and wanted to get the ball to stop those runs. Just get to the dressing room without aggravating it further and get treated straight away,” argued Gavaskar.
“Something about using a stretcher. It’s something a lot of people don’t like. I know what you’re saying is absolutely right, why get angry? Just sleep on it. But one thing with the stretcher I have seen many athletes denying it,” Manjrekar said.

Will Rahul make way for an impact player? With the Indian opener suffering an untimely injury during the match, the hosts could use either Ayush Badoni or Quinton de Kock as an impact player against RCB. Earlier, Rahul’s LSG revealed Badoni, Daniel Sams, Avesh Khan, de Kock and Prerak Mankad as impact player options for the ongoing match.
