Before Kohli reignited his rivalry with Gautam Gambhir, the former RCB skipper was seen giving a remarkable farewell to his former India teammate Krunal Pandya. The batting maestro had a busy day on the field as the former RCB skipper pulled off not one but two crucial catches which eventually turned his head in Lucknow.
Kohli was safe as home when Pandya failed to dismiss Glenn Maxwell in the fourth over of the LSG innings. The former Indian captain silenced the spectators with his magnificent gesture after the dismissal of Pandya in the opening powerplay. After this, Kohli took a sharp catch which brought a smile on the face of Anushka Sharma present in the stands.

Avenging their dramatic defeat at the hands of the Lucknow heavyweights on Monday, Faf du Plessis and Co beat Rahul’s side by 18 runs in a low-scoring encounter.
RCB skipper du Plessis was named player of the match for his brilliant knock of 44 off 40 balls. RCB’s impressive win over LSG has helped the Bangalore-based franchise grab the fifth spot on the IPL 2023 points table. RCB have collected 10 points from nine matches this season. Royal Challengers Bangalore will next take on Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday.
