WATCH: Rhea Ripley threatens the ring announcer on Saturday Night’s Main Event
Riya Ripley is known for her tough attitude as a wrestler in WWE. As a vital member of The Judgment Day, she makes sure it rubs off on her classmates as well, especially Dominik Mysterio.
Recently, the Saturday Night Main Event in Beaumont, Texas saw a match between WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ripley and Shotzi. He showed a glimpse of his flamboyant attitude before the match, and this time the ring announcer had to face his wrath. When the ring announcer was introducing the two superstars, Ripley insisted that he introduce her as Rhea “Bloody” Ripley, not a softer “Rhea Ripley”. A video of the same moment is going viral on social media.

Notably, Ripley was not selected on the first night of the 2023 WWE Draft. He is expected to be drafted this coming Monday on WWE Raw. Since WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair was drafted to SmackDown, there has been speculation that Ripley could be moved to Raw.
Meanwhile, Ripley is set to defend her title against Zelina Vega at Backlash 2023 on May 6. Prior to the title clash, she faced Vega after a one-on-one match against Sonya Deville on WWE SmackDown. But Vega kept the confrontation from turning into a full-scale fight and left the arena. Ripley later downplayed Vega in an interview with WWE, saying “Yeah, Zelina might have the upper hand tonight because she’s slippery and she’s fast and I’ll give her that and that. But at Backlash, Zelena can’t keep running, can’t escape. She can’t run up the ramp when it’s time to go. I may be going in favorite, but I’m also going to be victorious.”
