New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal posted the highest individual score in Indian Premier League history by an uncapped player on Sunday. The left-handed batsman achieved the feat during Rajasthan Royals’ IPL 2023 match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match between RR and MI was also the 1000th IPL match.
Yashasvi scored 124 runs in just 62 balls, including 16 fours and eight sixes at a strike rate of 200.00.
Earlier, who had the highest score by an uncapped Indian player? Paul ValthatyWho scored 120* for Punjab Kings (formerly known as Kings XI Punjab) against CSK in 2011.

Shaun Marsh, who was an uncapped Australian batsman in 2008, scored 115 for Punjab Kings (formerly known as Kings XI Punjab) against Rajasthan Royals in 2008.
Manish Pandey scored 114* for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against Deccan Chargers in 2009.

Jaiswal is also the fourth youngest player to score an IPL century at the age of 21 years, 123 days.

The youngest century scorer in IPL is Manish Pandey, who was 19 years, 253 days back in 2009 when he scored a century for RCB.
